Happy New Year!
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas
season and I wish you all the best for 2019.
It was busy here with family and friends etc.
so I didn't get time to post much lately but
January is usually a quieter month so hopefully,
I will have more time to enjoy my camera and
more time to post as well.
So, today is my first tea in the New Year
and I always love using this blue and
white transferware tea set.
It is still Christmasy around here
as I love the cosy lights and am always
reluctant to remove them so I procrastinate.
Love this old wool plaid blanket used
here as my tablecloth.
for Christtmas both the tasty ones and
the new willow tree ones in the background.

Those cookies look fabulous!
That was certainly a pretty tea time and such a sweet addition with the sheep!
Such a pretty tea time with a winter theme...love the plaid and the sheep cookies. They are so cute.
Beautiful blues!
Love the tartan rug used as a tablecloth - what a great idea! As a Scot, I do love a bit of tartan.

Happy New Year to you and your family, Caroline!
Icing on your sheep biscuits certainly appears like wooly coats. Looks great! Love the willow tree ones too.
It's difficult to imagine that while you are experiencing cold days and snow storms, tomorrow we are expecting hot north winds and a maximum temp. of 42C/107.6F!

Hi Barbara,
I love that tea set too but there is no name on the bottom
of it so I suspect that means it is made in China.
It came from a local gift shop at our hospital a few years ago.
Happy New Year!
Carolyn
