Relaxing on the Porch

          Hello everyone,

          Our screened porch is one of our

               favorite spots to relax in the summer.

             The old iron bed with a vintage quilt

             is a perfect spot to read a book while

               enjoying the birds and the view of the 

garden.

                                                                          Comfy chairs for tea time.

                                                                            enjoy.

                                                                           enamelware coffee pot.

Peach & Cream Tea

                                                                               Hello everyone,

                                                                   It is tea time on the porch today.

                                                                   The pretty bouquet is a mix of
                                                                   peach daylilies and oriental lilies

                                                                            Peach and cream teapot.

                                                                            I made some peach muffins for tea today.

                                 I love peaches and cream!

           I baked some biscuits for us

     as well so we can enjoy a

         peach shortcake made with

fresh whipped cream.

                                                    I am off to a wedding where our youngest
                                                               granddaughter is a flower girl.......better not
                                                               forget my camera.

Random Autumn Beauty

             Hello everyone,

  I hope you had a good week and I am

 sure you are looking forward to the 

weekend now.

I am sharing some random autumn

beauty today.

I like the autumn light in the shot above

of the Canada geese that we saw in Maine.

                                                       The cottages of Cabot Cove where we have
                                                        stayed in the past in Kennebunkport Maine.
                                                        They are quaint and cozy.

                                      We are almost done of our fall cleanup.

                                      Vesey's have their blowout sale on their

                                  bulbs and leftover perennials so I had a

                                             fun shopping spree but tried to keep reminding

                                   myself that I had to find a space to plant

                                           them and then dig and plant. Ah! but think of

      the beauty next spring!

                                                       It must be time for a cup of tea on
                                                                  our autumn porch.....don't you think!
