Winter White

Hello everyone,

I hope you enjoyed the holidays
and once again I wish you much
happiness and good health in
this new year of 2023.

I hope you have time to relax
now that the hustle and bustle is over.

I am enjoying this little nook
in the bay window.

                                                           Tea Time

All set for a white lunch table

We have a dusting of snow but
rain again for tomorrow.

A tea time treat or two.

I took down some of our Christmas
decorations but I am leaving some
up for a winter look. I know most
people are happy to get it all down
and packed away for another year
but I hang on as long as I can
to enjoy the lights longer.

Thank you for visiting me and a
special thank you to those who
have followed along for years.

Take care,
Carolyn

Hello Carolyn,
A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. We had a very quiet Christmas, but it was enjoyable. I spent three days decorating our Christmas tree, so I have decided to leave it up until the end of January. I call it my memory tree. It has decorations from my maternal grandparent's first Christmas tree( 1907), my parent's tree and decorations that I have collected for decades. I have other bits of Christmas decorations that I will put away soon and I will begin to add some Valentine's Day fun stuff soon.
I have received my seed order from Vesey's already and before we know it spring will be here!
Stay warm and cozy. Laura

So do I! Winter days are better with lights. I really like the pine cones hanging in your windows.

Happy New Year. Everything looks so beautiful. It always amazes me how everything you photograph looks so clean and fresh. With a hairy dog and a retired husband it's not easy keeping things tidy and clean. I try my best. My tree has come down earlier than I would have liked. We are selling our house and have a viewing on Friday. After-Christmas Christmas trees aren't as joyful as before Christmas, so down it must come. Have a wonderful year. xx
