Hello everyone,

We have closed up our little cottage
for the summer and settled in at
home once again.

Summer reading days at the cottage
are gone until it is cottage season
once again.

The last week at the cottage we finally
finished the front of the bunkie.
We put in a bigger window on
the front and shingled the front
as well. It was so nice to get it
done.

The back room of the bunkie.

I enjoyed watching the sunrise
and the sunsets at Ocean Song.

However, I am now looking forward to
snuggling in at home and I have to
confess I am already looking forward
to Christmas /winter decorating.

One last tea time at Ocean Song
with my green and white
transferware tea set.

We finished our library project
and have moved on to our small
porch/entryway makeover. I will
share photos soon.

Thank you for visiting !

Take care,

Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn,
You both must have quite some energy for keeping up with your home, garden and Ocean Song Cottage!
It is a serious business in your region for getting ready for winter.
Enjoy the cozy evenings that are awaiting for this season.
Hugs,
Mariette

Oh I LOVE your sweet little beach cottage. The blues and whites are so sereme. Growing up, I and my family went to a beach house on the Oregon coast, and the kitchen, with big huge windows that overlooked the ocean, was ALL blue and white. I have never forgotten that and just love blue and white, especially for a beach house. The twin beds remind me so much of my mom's twin beds (white with white comforters) that she had in a different beach place that she and my dad bought back in the 90's. Her dream was to have all her family there for holidays and dinners, which we did do and have such fond memories. Both of my parents are deceased now, but I still remember the "beach days" with such love and fondness. And I agree with the other comment, that you must have tons of energy to do all that you do!
