Valentine's Day Tea

    Happy weekend!

It is a beautiful sunny winter day
here again.

Even though I still have winter decor
up I thought I would do a Valentine
Day inspired tea today.

This little cross stitch heart
adds just the right touch~
I love the little details.

     Polka dots, chintz,& transferwre
for my tea today.

I love having a pretty bouquet
of tulips to add cheer to
our winter table.

Winter seems to be moving right along
and already the days are getting longer
and the sun is getting stronger......before
we know it spring will be here.

Enjoy your weekend!

I love white tulips. I was a florist for over 20 years and if I could get white tulips I always ordered them. My favorite arrangement at Christmas had white tulips and evergreen with a touch of eucalyptus. Tulips have such an elegance to them with their arching stems. Beautiful. I'll have to pop into my local florist and see if they have any. Thanks for the fond memories

What a lovely inspiration for a Valentine's Day tea. Would you please share the pattern name for the beautiful red transferware plate? I would love to be able to add pieces of it to my collection. Thank you.

So pretty! Are those tulips from Vanco? Enjoy the sunny weather,

Hi Barbara,
Yes, the tulips are Vanco grown here locally.Looking forward to tulips in the garden in spring.

Hi Nancy,
The plate pattern is English ironstone EIT.
I bought it at Winner's which is similar to Homegoods.

Thanks for visiting!
