A Late Autumn Afternoon Tea

Hello !

I am happy to have you here
for  my autumn afternoon tea.

This beautiful large transferware platter was
one of my 70 mile coastal yard sale
finds this year.
It is Wild Turkeys  Windsor Ware
by Johnson Bros. England..

I love the autumn colors and it
is  perfect for a large
turkey dinner.

A cozy Autumn tea.

I always enjoy these transferware teacups ....
especially in Autumn.

An Autumn tea with fresh
from the oven scones.

It is lovely to enjoy an Autumn
afternoon tea by the  fire.

I am wrapping up my autumn photos today
as I move into winter/Christmas.
Autumn is a short season for me as I
cling to summer as long as I can but
jump into Christmas as early as I
can. Although I love the beauty
of Autumn , while it lasts.

The above autumn shots were
taken a few weeks ago near our
home.

Thank you for joining me for
an Autumn tea today!

Carolyn

🍂Beautiful autumn tea... The Turkey Platter is gorgeous; a real find! I certainly understand the moving on to Christmas—Canadians are wise to celebrate Thanksgiving in October. 🦃

An Autumn tea sounds divine! Nothing like a warm sip. The turkey platter was a wonderful find. Perfect for your Autumn tea!! I'm wondering if you are still planning on doing your tea in August next year? My sisters, some friends, and I are planning a trip there next year. I have raved to them about your garden and your outdoor tea. We would love to attend!!
hugs,
Jann

LOVE the Wild Turkey platter! I found some tea cups and plates at a local flea market recently in that pattern. Your big platter is a real score. I also really love the brown and white tea pot in your banner. Thanks for the fall photos! I am looking forward to seeing what you have in store for Christmas decorating this year.
