Red and White Transferware Display in the Kitchen

                                                                           Good morning,

We had a very windy day here yesterday
knocking out power for much of the
Maritimes including us for over 16 hours.
Fortunately we are back on now but
thousands are not. It isn't even winter yet
and already we have had a few storms with
                                                         school closures etc.
I took a few shots of some of my red and
white transferware in the kitchen to share
                                                         with you today.

I am still adding little touches
                                                                   of Christmas throughout the
                                                                   house.

As many of you know I have been
                                                            collecting red and white transferware
for many years often one piece at a time.

This IKEA lantern adds a touch
of Christmas.

For a better look at my red and white transferware
in the cupboards on the other side of the kitchen
you can go here and for a pretty tablescape
check it out here.

Thank you for visiting!

Your high winds made the news here! So glad you got your power back on but truly feel for the many who haven't yet. I went through a 2 week power outage here one winter and it was not fun!
I love your transfer ware...the red is gorgeous and I love how you have them all displayed. I have some brown that I collected years ago. I need to display it like you have. Thanks for sharing!

You are my inspiration, and I love your dish collection. I love my dishes and teacup collection too. We might have a white Christmas here in Northern California. With all the fires and smoke this year, I would love to see some beautiful white snow cover my home and yard.
Thank you for posting your lovely home.
Joyously

If I were to choose some pieces of transferware, this is the colour I would choose. I love any combination of red with white. I'm also a lover of pink chinaware.
It looks very pretty displayed on your shelves and in the white cupboard. Your display from last year is lovely too.
Hope the weather settles there and that all are back with power soon.
Kind regards,
Betty - Melbourne

We lost our power for twenty-three hours. I feel so badly for those still without it. Love your display, Carolyn! Red transferware is so perfect for Christmas and so pretty! I like the mercury glass too. Have a joyful weekend!
