Hello everyone!
Summer is my favorite season here on the
Prince Edward Island so I am happy it has
arrived. Our temperatures have been cooler
but by midweek summer temperatures are
going to arrive.
I love the summery shot (above) that I took at our
daughter's cottage that it right next to ours. It was
a fixer upper and they did an amazing job on it.
Hopefully, soon I can share some photos of the
before and after.
It is lupin season here on the Island so there are
lots of these summer beauties going wild on the
roadsides here.
I love the lupins in our garden as well.
The early peonies are in bloom now too.
I Picked some rhododendrons for a
small bouquet.
The Deutizas are in full bloom in our
little secret garden.
We went for a drive down east
on the weekend and I had to stop
for this summer shot.
Fort Amherst park overlooking
the Charlottetown Harbour.
Relax and enjoy!
on Wednesday, July 11th from 6 to 8 so if
you would like to come and wander the garden
come along and bring a friend or two if you like.
Happy Summer!
Carolyn

Lupin are lovely. Very pretty to see. Adds a lot of color amongst the green. Not sure they would grow here in my part of the world. I wish I could come to the Open House. It would be wonderful to see your gardens in person. I so enjoy your blog when I visit.
God bless,

The lupins are so pretty. Your garden looks so pretty as always. You have such a relaxing and beautiful place.
Hi Carolyn! New to your blog! You have a very lovely garden!
If you lived here in the deep US South where I live, you wouldn't be saying "Welcome Summer"! It was 106 with the heat index today...so unbearably hot. Much too hot and get outside to do anything. I am already looking forward to FALL:) As always your pictures are gorgeous! Wish I lived near you so I could come wander your garden:) Enjoy your summer!
Fabulous pics! The header is also wonderful.Hugs!
Ah, Summer, is finally here, Carolyn! We almost went down on record as the coldest June but the temps we're going to have a next number of days will change all that. The lupins are beautiful and make such lovely bouquets. Your daughter's chairs beckon one to sit a while and relax; very pretty and I love the beachy colour! Enjoy this gorgeous day and thanks for sharing.
