Happy Valentine's Day!

        Happy Valentine's Day!

It was another storm day here with most
of the Island shut down at least until mid day.

I am thinking there are a lot of roses etc. that
didn't get delivered today as I
usually see line ups of men standing in line
at the flower shop to buy bouquets for their
sweethearts. Oh well, there is always
tomorrow but another storm is headed
our way for Thursday so we are making
up for January now.

I recently got this pretty tea set
from my friend Linda. Thanks, Linda
I love it!

I think I always share this teapot on
Valentine's Day as it was a Valentine
gift from my husband one year.

I hope you are enjoying your
                                                              Valentine's Day!

                                                                             Thank you for visiting,

Goood Morning, Carolyn!
Hope you & Andrew enjoyed a wonderful day for sweethearts. Ours, too, was a Snow Day & this is Snow Day #2! We've has 45 cms snow far! Lol SO. MUCH. SNOW.
I'm thrilled that you like your teacup (Royal Albert American Beauty). It's called a tennis set. Afternoon tea was commonly served at Wimbledon and, conveniently, the smaller plate that can hold a cuppa plus a snack could be held in one hand when outside. There ya have it! Lol
Stay cozy and safe in all the snow! Wishing you a beautiful day,
Linda at Beautiful Ideas

Your tea set is so sweet and I just want to jump into your pictures and have a cup along with those amazing looking treats. Sweet post.

Dear Carolyn:
I see in the back of the March/April "Victoria" that you and your garden will be featured in the May/June issue of Victoria! I am very happy for you. This will be wonderful!

Hi Bernideen,
Thank you for letting me know ~ I am so excited about it!
Thank you also for nice comment on the Victoria facebook page!
I didn't get the latest copy yet as we have been snowed in here plus I
think it is later arriving here.
Have a great weekend!
