Hello everyone,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.
We had great weather for all the
outdoor Christmas events.
Since we had some snow but mild
temperatures I did a little outdoor
photo shoot.
I like to set up our porch with a winter
display that I enjoy even just looking
out from the doorway.
This time I used a blue /green
tartan theme.
Winter picnics are fun too.
Love this tartan gift bag.
snow on the trees and shrubs.It was
pretty but thousands of homes were without power
some for a couple of days because of the weight
of snow on the wires across the Island.
With more sunshine and mild temperatures
for most of this week, I think I will make
a thermos of hot cocoa and sit out and enjoy
the fresh air and the beauty of nature.

Hi Carolyn! It's always so beautiful at your house and the snow looks so Christmasy. We had snow this time last year but none so far. Folks keep telling us...just wait! Hope you're doing well.

What a welcoming porch! One imagines a cozy fire inside with hot tea (and hot chocolate)!
What a cozy winter vignette -- The tartan patterns make it look warm, even if you can only enjoy looking at it from inside, and the red wreath and Santa bag are cheerful and bright. Enjoy your cup of hot cocoa! -Beth

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I have since a young child adored plaid tartan anything. I just purchased ribbon yesterday. Your images always are so pleasing to my eyes~
