Hello everyone,
It was a busy but nice weekend here as we had our
family of 24 for our traditional turkey dinner
plus aprox. 40 people from Japan in two separate
tours.Everything is back in order now and I am
looking forward to afternoon tea at my friends
cottage.
Today for you quilt lovers it is tea the
Gardener's Cottage.
When my friend Sharon came for a visit she brought
two beautiful quilts along with her.
So you can snuggle in and enjoy
a quiet cup of tea.
These beautiful quilts are both handmade.
Tea time
I got this vanity at the
70 mile yard sale a few
years ago.
It is at the end of the bed
in the Gardener's Cottage
but I am thinking I should
find a spot for it in the house.
A little peek around.
of the cottage with by adding a colorful
quilt or two.
Wishing you a beautiful day!

The turquoise and white quilt just pops in the cottage. Do you still decorate it for Christmas?
What pretty quilts, Carolyn! I love the colour of your hydrangea; what an exquisite shade. Glad you had a lovely Thanksgiving with your family. It won't be long now and we'll be decorating for Christmas. I found this year just flew right by, how about you?
Blessings,
Sandi
That lovely aqua and white quilt adds so much to the cottage. It would be a nice cozy spot for tea. After your busy weekend you deserve it!
Oh! the quilt kinda looks like the color we are painting Ingleside. It's a deep Robin ' s Egg Blue called Island Breeze :) I'm loving it.
