Red & White Transferware Display

               Hello everyone!

In the course of doing some spring cleaning ,
I changed my display of china
on this thrift store shelf.

I don't know why but these little changes
make me happy.

Maybe, it is because my mother
always said a change was as good
as a rest.

My collection of red and white
transferware is still growing as
friends add a piece or two now
and then.

My little yard sale cupboard came in
handy to hold the overflow.

If you would like to see the rest of my collection
of red and white transferware on the other side
of the kitchen go here.

Before you go enjoy a cup of tea!

                                                                Take care,

                                                                        Carolyn

Such a coincidence Carolyn. I just bought some red and white transferware in the thrift store today. It's by Myott and called Royal Mail. I think it must be somewhere in your cupboard too. What a beautiful collection you have!

Have a good weekend!

Your collection of red transferware looks wonderful on the white shelves and the pretty sheep. I also shall try to remember your mother's saying, I think she was right.

Dear Carolyn,
Found you site quite by accident and what a delight! Tea has always been a part of my life since I was a little girl. My teacup and teapot collection remind me of my Mom and all the dear ladies of my family that left me with a bit of themselves with gifts of teacups or lace hankies or doilies made with their own hands.
I have eight, soon to be nine grandchildren, too. Four of them girls. How I love when my four daughters and my four granddaughters and I have tea!
Thank you for sharing your self and your beautiful pictures with us all.
Blessings, Linda

How lovely! You never disappoint. Such a smart idea to extend the country pattern of the china with the sheep on the shelf.

I love seeing your different transferware colors, Carolyn. You have one of the prettiest collections around! : ) That shelf is just perfect for displaying it, too.

Hi Carolyn,
I'm not sure you'll see this comment so long after you posted this, but I'm curious about your sheep. What are they made out of?
Thanks,
Diane

Hi Diane,

The little sheep are made of metal, wool wax or plastic…..I can,t resist them!
Thanks for visiting!
