Happy Weekend!
August already!
We have had a lot of hot sunny days
through out July and early August but
lately we have had some good rains to
keep our garden green.

I like to have a few dahlias in the garden
for bouquets since they bloom until
frost.

Your gardens are so lush and full of life and colour- just beautiful.
I think it is so neat you get so many tours from Japan....are they coming from cruise ships or how?
Hi Michele,
I think it is neat too! They fly here from Japan....no cruise ships.
It is all arranged through local tour companies.
Have a lovely weekend!

I love visiting your blog. It's such a joy.
I just love looking at your garden and getting ideas. Have you ever posted a plan of your gardens?
Your flowers are gorgeous. Everything in bloom at once and it looks great! So pretty!

Just beautiful!
Absolutely Awesome! A garden like that takes a lot of time and commitment . The reward is breathtaking! You truly take time to smell the roses! Thanks for the tour! Have a great weekend!
Gardens usually wane in August, but yours certainly is the exception. It's gorgeous, Carolyn. ~ Nancy @ A Joyful Cottage
So beautiful Carolyn!
Just beautiful, Carolyn! I can see that you don't seem to be having the non-blooming hydrangea problem that a few bloggers have mentioned. Even mine - out of the three bushes I have only one bloomed this year. But my neighbor next door, it looks like all hers had blooms, so who knows what is going on.
Your gardens look amazing and so inspiring :)
Your garden looks beautiful Carolyn! There is still so much colour. It must be fun doing the garden tours. All those happy faces :-)
Have a good week!

such a lovely garden
and a joy to see your photographs
Your garden is so very charming, Carolyn! I love the photos and am jealous of the visitors - maybe some day! Do your Hostas take full sun? I have a hard time with them here - they get burned by the sun...love them so much!
Have a great week,
Kathy
