Hello everyone,
It seems like quite awhile ago now since we
visited the Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando
Florida but I realized that I hadn't shared my
photos of it.
We really enjoyed taking in the beauty of
the gardens on a beautiful sunny day.
However, the house was lovely to see as well.
Pictures were allowed but no flash so I took a
few quick shots as there were several others
doing the tour at the same time.
How about this for a colorful old
fashioned bath?
They must have known I was coming
so they set up a tea table for Andrew & I.!!!
It was a beautiful home set in 50 acres of
botanical bliss.
I think this is an old fashioned iPod! Ha! Ha!
The Rose Garden.
I have the perfect spot in our garden
for these apple pickers but alas they
wouldn't fit in my suitcase!
Beautiful roses.
There is lots more to see so if you are
in or near Orlando, Florida I think you
would enjoy a visit.
I forgot to take a photo of the exterior of the house
so I borrowed this one from the internet.
A beautiful arbor.in Mount Dora.
Also in Mount Dora at the Lakeside Inn where we stayed
~ it was beautiful to watch the sunset from these chairs.
Hope you are having a good week and
Thank you for visiting!
Carolyn

Beautiful gardens and home! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for sharing. :)
What a beautiful place...I'm originally from Florida so I will definitely have to visit these gardens on my next visit. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous pictures!

I've only been to Orlando once - when I was 18 and went with a friend to Disney World.
My folks had a place for over 20 years on the west side Siesta Key/Englewood, FL so that is where we always winter vacationed.
I should very much like to go back to Orlando as an adult - see Epcot Center at Disney, which I have never done, visit a niece who lives near Orlando and see some of these nice sights.
Thanks for sharing, Carolyn.
Wonderful garden:)
Have a great week:)
PRECIOSO LUGAR!!!
ME ENCANTAN TODAS LAS FOTOS.
SALUDITOS
I live about an hour away from the gardens that you visited. I enjoyed the tour a lot also and am glad that you were able to visit there. It was also fun to see the picture of the chairs sitting out by the lake at Mt. Dora, my husband and I celebrated an anniversary at that Inn. It makes me happy when someone enjoys our state.
If you get back to Florida again you might be interested in a visit to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden. The museum is his house which is very interesting and the gardens are not as large as some but interesting along with the sculptures in it. The man himself was something to learn about and his work is even in the town of Winter Park in their fountain. Winter Park is a very pretty town that you would enjoy I think.
Though from north Florida, I have never heard of those gardens. I must look that up and plan a visit. My husband and I visited Mt Dora last year and stayed in Lakeside Inn. I sat in those same chairs by the lake. Lovely place. I love your blog...I now get it in email so I won't miss one!
Soooo beautiful! What a wonderful place to escape to. :)
Have a wonderful holiday, Carolyn!
