Sunday Afternoon Lilac Tea

                                                                     Hello everyone,

It is warm and sunny here today and the lilacs are blooming in our garden now. It was a perfect
afternoon to enjoy a cup of tea in the sun room with the fragrance of the lilacs.
A cup of tea for you in a lilac  transferware tea cup.

  1.                            We have lots of lilacs in the garden this year.

  2.
I love the soft lilac colours used for our tea today.

I hope you enjoyed joining me for Sunday Tea  today. Don't you love the fragrance of lilacs?

           Thanks for visiting,
           Carolyn

I adore Lilacs. My mother used to grow beautiful ones at our home in Toronto. I. Not having much luck myself in Northern California unfortunately.
Beautiful pictures. I think I'll make myself some tea!

I always want to enjoy tea after visiting you. I love the lilac transfer-ware, It is so pretty. I don't see it very often in shops. Your little blue and white tea-pot with the feet is the cutest ever. Would love to see more of it. I'm happy with myself today for finding a gorgeous tea cup and saucer at an antique farm today. Blue and white, my favorite. Hugs, Deb

One of my all time favorite flowers. You have captured its beauty magically. I enjoyed looking at your gorgeous collection of transferware and vintage pieces. I have peonies blooming in my garden now. Have a great week Carolyn...

Our lilacs were lovely this year, and I also did a tablescape with them. I'm enjoying your book very much! So much beauty.

Oh the lilacs are so pretty!! You have taken such lovely pictures of your flowers and tea. It is so inviting. I love your transfer wear also as I have just started to pick up a few pieces of Mason's Vista blue and white pattern.

Hello, Carolyn

I do appreciate the scent of lilacs! My large lavender one and my neighbour's snowy white version have finished blooming, but I have two tiny ones still to enjoy. As well as your photos, of course.

Lovely photos. I like the soft lavender colours and the transferware china. I must ask my neighbour for some lilac blooms for a bouquet. Blessings, Pam

How I would love to join you for tea and pick that sweet brain of yours on what you would do in a certain place in our garden. I bet you have lots of questions like that. We have spent the last few days clearing some overgrown brush from the fence row down near the lake and now I am trying to figure out just what to plant around a beautiful boulder we uncovered. I went to a rose nursery yesterday and it was so beautiful. I picked up an antique rose and hopfully I will have luck covering a fence with it. Oh to be your next door neighbor!
Hugs
Becky
