Vintage Charm

                                                             Hello everyone,
On this sunny but cool day I enjoyed some time indoors with my camera. So I have a few photos to share with you today and some for another day.I am enjoying the pretty blooms of my geraniums sitting on a southern windowsill.
My Easter roses are still holding up pretty good.I like how they look with this old hatbox.
One of my thrifty treasures this week was this lovely cameo vase.It is such a pretty shade of green and I know I will enjoy it with big bouquets of peonies, lilacs roses etc.
I don't know if the vase is vintage or not but it has vintage appeal to me.

Just a few quick shots to share with you today-hope you enjoyed them.

  Thank you for stopping by,
   Carolyn

I love that glorious rose, Carolyn! It is a sunny hue and makes me feel warm just at the sight of it. Just popping in to say hello and hope all went well with your stove afterwards!

Hello sweet Carolyn,
I have been catching up reading your beautiful blog. I think it is better than any garden magazine on the shelf today. It is hard to believe that any month on your island could be brown and muddy. lol Apparently it takes brown and muddy to make beauty. Your pictures are amazing. It was a pleasure catching up!

That vase is really something! I have never seen a cameo vase before! Your garden cottage is so wonderful...and it reminds me of a neighbor girl's play house that her daddy built for her in their garden when I was a child. I loved playing in it! It was much smaller than yours...but it was so charming!

Love, Linda

I was reading Anne of Green Gables for the fist time and just finished it. As I was reading I kept thinking you living there on Prince Edward Island. Anne Shirley makes it sound like an ideal place to live.
