Warm White

                                                          Happy Weekend!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend-it is a nice wintry one here . I enjoy bundling up and going for a walk in the fresh air pretty much every day so grab one of those warm winter white sweaters and come along! Actually , you will need a coat too and some nice warm mittens

.               The snow was so sparkly and white today.

                                                          Peaceful!

Watching over the garden even in winter.

A quick peak in the 'conservatory' tells me it is frosty in there!

Stop and have some hot cocoa?

Or are not as hardy as we 'northerner's and want a cup of tea indoors?

Help yourself!

Maybe, you would like to join my little skater for a twirl or two around the pond? Go ahead it will be fun!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Carolyn

Your photos are beautiful and loved seeing the tranformation of your garden through the seasons. It's hard to imagine it being so cold, when we are experiencing 40° days here in Australia!

Glorious whites, Carolyn. I would love to grab one of those yummy sweaters! All the patterns that I would love myself...Did you knit any of them yourself? It wouldn't surprise if you knit them all! Lol
The conservatory looks absolutely wonderful. That chandelier you found is a treasure. :-) And, I love how the winter light fills the room.
Your granddaughter is the perfect model! You have such a good-looking family! I think they turn after their grandparents, of course! Lol
Hope you have a joyful weekend. XO

I think I would brave the cold and have a cup of tea outside in the snow. It's lovely!

Beautiful photographs, Carolyn. We must have been thinking in the same color scheme today as I posted photos of my winter white afternoon tea a short while ago.

this is exquisite again. Your photography is amazing. One day I will aspire to getting better in that area. But all these pictures inspire awe in me. I must figure out what it is about White that does it. I think I do understand some of it but the impact is still so huge with me. I adore all these pictures especially the one 'who watches the garden in winter'....awe!

Good Morning, Carolyn!
They are wonderful, Your pictures! White and winter!
Yesterday it was raining and grey. Grey cloudes. No sunshine, no white snow! Just grey. But a little daisy is growing up in my garden - now, in the middle of winter. Really, it is crazy. No snow, but flowers!
Have a nice day!

So beautiful, and your little skater has such a pretty dreamy face.

I think my fav pic is the one with the snow and the Adirondack chairs - says it all in its white cold starkness, doesn't it?

Thank you for the lovely cocoa and teatime.

Beautiful winter whites inside and out. I think I started skating on skates like the ones in your photos. Were they yours? Have a lovely week Carolyn.

Oh it looks cold and pretty too, does the snow do much damage to the garden, frost is so harmful but yours seems to bounce back ok.
Those chairs up to their knees in snow I love it.

I love that pile of white sweaters, they look wintry but warm. The snow looks beautiful, we still haven't had any snow this winter.

Would you please tell us the paint color you used in the conservatory? I am looking for a color like this and having a hard time narrowing down all the whites! Thank you
