A Sunny Afternoon Tea

                                                  Hello Everyone!
I am happy you stopped by as I have a tea tray prepared for you in a sunny corner by the fireside.
I love how the sun streams in through the lace curtains.
The chaise is very comfortable to sit for awhile with a favorite magazine and a cup of tea.
My little yardsale teapot now has a matching creamer and sugar dish from Homesense.
A whole wheat raisin scone is a nice treat with a cup of tea.

Linger for awhile as it is a cosy, comfy spot to enjoy a little break from the business of everyday life.

I am joining Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

Thank you for stopping by,

Carolyn

What a sweet set. The tea-pot is just charming. Ilove all the linens today. They look so fresh and inviting. Meant to comment yesterday on all the houses but the day got away on me. I really enjoyed the post and fell head over tea-cup for many of them. Gorgeous. Hugs, Deb

It certainly is a lovely place to linger a while. Thank you for sharing that with us all, Carolyn.

I am pretty certain your entire world is a place I could linger - you have such style and beautiful taste and make everything really wonderful.

Hi Carolyn,

It is always so warm and peaceful on your blog - I do enjoy visiting :)

Your yard sale tea pot is precious and the creamer and sugar dish go very well with it.

I hope the rest of your week is lovely!

Thanks for warming my heart today, dear friend.
We have a huge snowstorm forecasted for Thursday-Friday. Yikes! Watch the news... :-(

It sure looked inviting with the tea at your sunny place. Here we haven't seen any sun for ages, it seems! I could spend some hours there by the fireplace with your nice company, lol.
Have a nice day.
Love Elzie
