Tea Time

                                                         Hello everyone!

Hope your week is going well. We did have a good cover of snow yesterday afternoon but warm temps and heavy rain took it all away overnight.

We got our tree last night so I am looking forward to decorating it tonight.
In the meantime I will enjoy a nice cup of Christmas tea.

I have had this angel for several years now but I still enjoy getting her out every Christmas.and putting her on a table or mantel until she finds her proper stot on the top of our tree.

Just a simple tea again but soon we can snuggle up by the fireside with the glow of the Christmas tree.

Since we had some snow yesterday school was let out early so I enjoyed a snowy afternoon with two of our granddaughter's. and of course I had to get some photos of them in our first real (though short lived) snowfall of the season.

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for  a Christmas Tea Time today.

Thank you for visiting ,

Carolyn

That's probably the prettiest tea cup I've ever seen. I really love it.

Oh, Carolyn, your little ones are so cute playing in the snow. It seems just like yesterday that our own children were doing that!
That is a very pretty teacup and I love your angel. Those feather wings are so lovely.
It's hard to believe you're still painting out on the veranda in mid-December. Well, almost mid-month. I would love for the months ahead to offer up these temps all winter!
Thank you for coming to my Christmas tea and enjoy your tree decorating this evening.

Christmas blessings,
Sandi

Visiting you from the Rose Chintz Cottage link up. Oh my, what a lovely blog you have and excellent photography as well! You've captured a very ethereal, romantic feel and I love the 'busy' floral pattern of the teacup. Gorgeous!

Merry Christmas!

Your angel is pretty, the feather wings are the nicest I've seen on one.
You can tell your granddaughters that this Grandma from Ontario loves their purple coats and hats!

Oh, your angel is, well, just heavenly, Carolyn. Loved your teacup, too. Looking forward to the tree.

Today and yesterday I posted on my dollhouse! Stop for a short visit if you have time. Susan

Your lovely angel topper is so pretty, Carolyn - and I love that chintz teacup!

But nothing is cuter than those two smiling beautiful girls playing in the first snow of the season.

Temps are getting colder here but the hard rains of a few days ago is gone, so no snow yet. Not looking very Christmasey around here either.

Guess it's a state of mind this year.

Dear Carolyn,
That teacup is an old time favorite. How pretty and colorful. I could never tire of it. I love that you brought it out for Christmas and you always have a way of presenting your cups in such a charming, artistic way.
Your girls are darling too!
