Brown & White Transferware Cupboard

                                                                 Hello everyone!

Today I am opening my cupboard doors to give you a better look inside to see some of my brown and white transferware. After taking these shots I did some tweaking on the cupboard but by then it was too dark to take better pics.
The plate on the top row is new to my collection and it is a Vista plate by Mason from Coulson's in Summerside.
The rest of my collection has been picked up here and there over time-yardsles,thrift shops etc.

I love this platter and soup tureen .

This little covered dish also came from Coulsons.

This cupboard is on the other side of the room from the first.

                                                    I love my teapot!

This dish came from Winner's a few years ago.

This vase also came from Coulson's one of my favorite haunts.

Well, that is a pretty good sample of my brown & white transferware- I think I have a few more pieces around the house but I will show them some other day.

Today,I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for her Tea Time Tuesday Cupboard party.

Thank you for visiting ,
Carolyn

Just so pretty, Carolyn! You have so many beautiful pieces and probably the biggest collection I've seen in blogland.
Be a sweetie,

I'm looked at this three times. There's almost too much 'pretty' in one post. The cupboard is beautiful and the second cupboard looks like it might hang on the wall. I'd love to see more of it. Oh Carolyn..you seem to always be able to top yourself every post. This one has to be my favorite. Please show us more of those cupboards. Hugs, Deb.

Now that I see the transferware in its proper context I can appreciate it....when I saw a huge set in a huge box at the thrift store I could not be sure if it was beautiful or not...silly. Glad you enjoy it! I will love the day I will have space for displays :D

Carolyn, I love your brown and white transferware. You have some very nice pieces. I like your teapot too. Is that the one you found in Kensington at the flower shop? I do love that cabinet on the wall. That was a real find! Thanks for sharing this with my Cabinet party. It has been a real treat to see it.

Blessings,
Sandi

I love the teapot too, what a find it was.

I've always loved the brown but rarely see it. In the last few years of looking I only have found two plates and two saucers...that hasn't slowed down my persistence in finding more though! Your collection is absolutely lovely and you display it so beautifully...;j

Dear Carollyn,
Oh my goodness, what beautiful china and what gorgeous pictures you take. Always. The one that took my breath away...the cupboard with that gingerbread~
absolutely "speaks" to me. You must be so happy every day to live amongst your the beauty you have created around you-from the gardens to the interiors. Good for you!

I have just the tiniest bit of brown transferware. 2 pieces to be exact. But I have a partial set of what is called Brown/Multi transferware. It has some red and green on it: Johnson Bros. Harvest Time. I have it out for the fall. I would love to get a teapot. Lately, I 've been finding (and collecting) so many teapots that are a deep brown. (I think in England, they were called "Brown Betty"?) They complement the brown transferware but don't have the beauty.
I love that you have so much matching lace to edge your shelves with.
Just beautiful.
