Soft and Sweet

                                                                          Hello Everyone!
                         I hope you had a good weekend. We had heavy rain most of the weekend but it was nice and warm at least. I went to an auction sale on Saturday where there was lots of interesting pieces that went pretty cheap.I got a little table and a vintage galvanized cooler for $5 and a mirror for $7 so I was happy with that.I wish I had taken my camera to show you some of the unusual pieces like a buttercup yellow vintage  stove.
Since I didn't take any photos this weekend I am sharing some mosaics that I like from my vast collection!

                                                    Hope you all like dishes as much as I do!

Warm days will surely be upon us once again, though they will surely be few. Hope you get that painting done before the snow flies!

Always fun visiting you. So many pretty things. I really like the green and white! I would have such a hard time picking a teacup :) But, would be thrilled with any you'd choose to served to me. I think that would be the only problem I'd have there!! Even the rain sounds delightful!

All I can say is BEAUTIFUL! Absolutly beautiful! Those photo's were terrific, and very inviting. I would love to come to your home and have tea with you, and stay in one of those guest rooms, oh my...

This post is lovliness extraordinaire! After buying yet another delicate teacup, I was asked,'what are you going to do with them'? How can I count the ways I appreciate them? Their beauty remind me of a verse in Phillipians .. whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. A lovely teacup with tea can mirror a heart that is gentle and kind ... a heart that serves.

Your collection of teacups is just beautiful! What is it with teacups & plates that attracts us so much? :-)

Your white and light blue bedroom looks lovely. It must be a delight for your grandchildren to stay over and sleep in this room.
