Autumn Rose

                                                                Happy Weekend!
I almost missed this little autumn rose blooming in the garden. I don't know the name of it but it was just one of those little pots of roses that you buy in the grocery store in the winter to enjoy indoors.Did you know you can plant them out in the garden and often split them in two or three piecs and they will bloom all summer and winter over in the garden.
Anyway,I thought I should get some photos of it as I am will soon be missing going out to the garden and picking a bouquet for indoors. Soon, but not quiet yet!
Love these old looking baby boots.

When I was done of my photo shoot the little rose went to it's final home in the vase on my kitchen window sill to be enjoyed.
This hammock came home with me from the 70 mile yard sale last Saturday. It was $4 and still had it new tags on it. I knew I had just the spot for it in between these two old trees by the woods and near the pond.

                                                   Enjoy your weekend!

        Thank you for visiting,

                 Carolyn

Wow! What a find!!! A hammock - new - for four dollars! Happy congratulations! =]

I have a pretty apricot colored rose in my garden that I just planted, this summer. It always seems to be gently glowing - no matter what the light - from the inside out! =]

I love your little vignette in the soft autumn light! =]

It's a beautiful rose, Carolyn! The color is perfect for this time of year, too. I'd love to lay in your hammock after wandering your gardens. I'm sure the weather must be lovely by you now, too.

The rose is a little treasure!
Yesterday I picked the last of the pink roses - the yellow will bloom for a long time yet, even into December in a good year.

Amazing rose at this time of year. Makes me wonder if my flower food needs to be boosted.

I can feel the breeze and smell the leaves starting to turn, thanks for those tweaks of autumn.

hugs,

Cotton Peony

What a pretty colour that rose is. I love the old brown baby boots. It's a cold rainy day here. :(

Lovely post, Carolyn. That's a colourful hammock. It's nice to have the pellet stove going today because it makes the house so cozy on a cool rainy day! Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the last of your roses.

Blessings,
Sandi

Wow! I brand new hammock for $4.00. Now that is a BARGAIN. Autumn is definitely upon us here in Upstate NY, but my knock out roses are still blooming.

I always plant those roses I buy in the winter. They can be real big and some of the colors are just amazing.
Lovely pics as always and I too love the baby shoes. They are really used, lol.
Hope you have a nice week.
