My Indoor Spring Garden

Hello everyone,
There is nothing like a few plants or bouquets to brighten up a room and give it some spring time cheer, don't you agree?

I love these beautiful hyacinths .
Gerber daisies, hyacinths and Vanco tulips.

You can probably tell I was having fun with my camera again.

the geranium in the urn is one that I have wintered over for a few years and it is always the first to bloom.

I hope these pretty flowers have added a bit of spring time cheer to your day. And speaking of spring time cheer yesterday I found our first little blooms of the season as a few snowdrops were blooming by the walkway but behind them is a big bank of snow. Also as I waded through the soft snow(which has melted down a lot) there were some daffodils up a few inches and just a few days ago they were covered in snow.oh! the joy of walking around the garden and seeing the first signs of life! Oh, and we did see our first robin of the season a few days ago so spring is on the way for sure.
I am joining Cielo at the house in the roses for show off your cottage Monday again. Thank you Cielo for hosting this lovely party.

My heart continues to go out to all the people of Japan- it is heartbreaking to see what they are going through.

Thank you for visiting,

Carolyn

Those pink tulips just make me happy!
Are snow here is just about gone (knock on wood) which usually doesn't happen until april so it's been exciting to see little green shoots coming out of the grown!
I can't wait to get out there and clean up a little more, but I'm afraid it might feeze once more.

Thanks for sharing!

Your sunroom must smell wonderful with all those beautiful blooms! If the robins are over on the island they must be here too - I just haven't seen one yet. :-) Beautiful post!

How very cheering and beautiful, Carolyn, to see such lovely signs of spring! We are having the most miserable rain, day after day. I do have several potted hyacinths which smell wonderful, and some daffodils and snow drops from the garden but can't wait to actually get out in it! As always, your home is such a treat. Wishing you a really terrific week. – g

You have lots of pretty spring flowers in your home Carolyn. Now that we're back I need to buy some myself.
I've saved the hyacinth bulbs and planted them in the garden and they come back each year.

Scrolling through this has been like being INSIDE of a bouquet - oh, what a lovely thought, at this point. Our spring sounds like it's only a little bit behind yours. I'm hearing birdsong that's been missing for a while and saw mourning doves on the wire, outside of our house.

I love the colors and texture of the gerbera daisies. (That IS what they are, right?=])

I'm off to share this with my friend from the photography forum who lives in NH, needs spring and LOVES pink!

Love, Katy
