Hello everyone,
It is tea time again and I am happy to have you visit me again. I have the tea already and we can enjoy the sunshine in our little sunroom.
I am using my creamy white china again .
I found this white tablecloth at a thrift shop last week. It has birds embroidered on each corner and it is edged with tatting.
Sunshine and flowers make my day!
My daughters are taking a cake decorating class so I am hoping they will teach me some of their newly acquired skills. Jen did some practicing at home and shared some with us. She did a great job I think-don't you?
This little stand came from TJMAXX a few years ago. I love the lacy look. I have to admit these cookies are really tempting me!
Close up of the tablecloth- I love the birds on it.
I am loving these tulips and hyacinths.
Well, it is a lovely afternoon for tea so why not sit a linger a bit as life is too short to always be rushing around-take a break, you deserve it!
I am joining Sandi again for her lovely Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage.
Thank you to all who have left such lovely comments lately and to all those of you who have become new followers. I am so glad to have you all!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

This is truly my favorite of all your china. It is divine!! My daughter has a desire to take a cake decorating class - we're thinking of doing it together this summer! Those cookies are very tempting.

Great photos, as always, Carolyn. Your daughter's cookies look sumptuous and oh, so decorative. Great job! Take care. Susan
Hi Carolyn,
I can imagine sitting at your pretty table with the sun shining in, smelling the sweet hyacinth and listening to the soft, flute music, so relaxing. The tea is lovely and the china truly a delight...but those cookies! They are a work of art.
Thanks for the invitation, I am having a wonderful time.
Hugs, Cindy
I think that I've noticed this before in your posts. It seems, to me, like the height of luxury to have gorgeous sunlight and blooming flowers and comfort and tea, when, outside, it is still cold and inhospitable. I do love the sun coming in the windows and the peek outside of bare branches.
Cake decorating lessons sounds so fun! =]
Carolyn, tell your daughters their cookies look very professional. When I first saw them, I thought you must have been decorating all night with such fancy icing.
Your tea tablescape is inviting as usual.
Judith

My dear Carolyn, I have long loved your chairs shown on this post. Today featured with all the white china, the white pillows and linen and the lovely Spring flowers, I am just enthralled with the serenity and beauty of this post. Please publish a book with all your wonderful photos. That way I could curl up with a cup of tea and linger at your teas and gardens longer. Blessings.
Your tablescape is beautiful as always. Love the cream set and the photo of the tulips and hyacinths is stunning. I know I'm always in for a treat when I visit your blog.
