Special Times!

This is my youngest daughter Emily with her little daughter Lila enjoying some special quiet times. I love watching Mama and baby interactions.

I am so happy to watch my children nurturing their little ones so well.

These are such special times and we all know how fast these little ones grow up.

What could be sweeter than sharing these quiet times with a little one held close?

Lullaby and goodnight!

Doesn't this tug at your heartstrings?

Is there anything more angelic?

Don't you just want to kiss those sweet little cheeks?

So peaceful!

Lila is one of these little ones that can have a 10 minute power nap and wake up smiling!

so sweet!

Hey! Grandma are you talking about me?

(I chuckle everytime I look at this picture of Lila).

I feel so blessed to be able to share in these special times with my baby girl and her sweet babe!

Thank you for letting me share and

hope you enjoy some of these special times too!

Carolyn

What a beautiful little girl (and her mommy).

I'm leaving for New England on Friday to visit my daughter and her family.

She has already made reservations at a tea room for the two of us, her two little daughters, and their other grandmother. :)

LOVE your beautiful pictures.

Oh what a sweet baby and yes I love to watch my children with their own kids. My daughter especially, she is the best mom and I am so proud of her.

this is onee of the most beautiful posts I've seen. Your daughter and granddaughter are gorgeous! These pictures will last for ever. My daughter just gave birth to a little boy last Thursday morning. I can't describe how different and wonderful it feels to have a little one in our lives. Great pictures. Mumzie

Hi Caroylyn,

What a beautiful daughter and granddaughter you have! You have every reason to be a very proud grandmother! Am I right that you are, just like me, the mother of three girls? My eldest is almost twenty now, the one in the middle seventeen and my youngest fifteen. I enjoy having them so much! Have a wonderful day! Lieve groet, Madelief

It must be wonderful being a grandmother of this beautiful girl.
I am totally in love with my sisters children and she allows me to spoil and cuddle them as much as I need.

Don't you just love being called a 'Grandmother'? Well it's Noni or Goochie for me here.. but it's just a joy to see my grandbaby. When she looks at me.. it's like the world lights up as she smiles and lifts her arms to be held!

Thank you for sharing such a joy with us! I think I'll post Miss Lillian's (my grandchild)photo on my site too here.

Hi Madalief,
You are right we do have three daughters and we also have four sons.
I always wanted a big family.I can't believe our fast they grew up-our oldest is 37 and our youngest is 23 and they are all about 2 years apart. We also have nine precious grandchildren. We are so thankful to be so richly blessed!
Hope your daughter is having a good holiday.
Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
What a beautiful post of your daughter and baby. Lila is so adorable, I could just eat her up! Family is so precious to me too. I would have had a house full of babies myself had I been able to. Time has passed too quickly and they grew up too fast! I would love to be able to do it all over again! Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Love you beautiful pictures. You are right on - there is nothing greater then watching your children be good parents. That room you daughter was in. The one with the big windows. Is that in your house. How lushous.

Oh she is so sweet! Beautiful photos. Brings back a lot of happy memories of my own two children when they were Lila´s age. What a joy! When my children were small I always thought to myself to really embrace every moment with them. Always with lots of hugs and kisses. They grow so fast, now they are eleven and thirteen years old. Time flies..

(PS. Thank you for being my first "follower" I am so happy!)

Carolyn, your daughter and grand daughter are beautiful like their mummy and nannie!! What great clear photographs too.

I have two grandchildren, Russell aged 15 and Keiley-Ann aged 11 from my son. I was with my daughter in law when she gave birth to Keiley.
I would love my daughter Jill to have grandchildren for me too but due to problems it may not happen, can only hope and pray with medical intervention one day a miracle will happen. Jackie.

You two girls are just precious. I have heard new Grandmother's say that the love you feel for this next generation is truly unbelievable--like no other. You are blessed to have them in your life. The photos are all so wonderful--I feel as sense of calm after going through them. I pray I will one day experience the joy of having a grandchild of mine.
