I hope you are enjoying a lovely
Sunday afternoon.
We are snuggled in by the fireside
this afternoon with a movie
and a cup of tea.

Using my Mason Vistas teacups
today.

Antique teapot that was
made in Japan.

As many of you know I love
                                                                          transferware in all colors but
                                                                          my biggest collection is red
                                                                          and white.

Well, back to my movie for now
but I hope to see you soon.

                                                                         Thank you for visiting!

Sweet November Tea

       Welcome November

It is hard to believe it is November
already . The garden is almost all
cleaned up for winter, the leaves are
falling and I am planting my bulbs for
early spring color.
Veseys are having their bulb blowout
sale again so I stocked ~it seems I always
buy more then I intend too but hard to
resist at $2. a bag!
Anyway, after all that fun shopping it
was time for a cup of tea and a sweet
treat before starting to plant my bulbs.

I made a pumpkin cinnamon cake for
                                                                  our tea today.

I love to use my brown and white
                                                             transferware in autumn and winter.

I got the recipe for this cake here
but I took a short cut and made
the cake without the streudel and
glaze.

   Tea time

                                               Wishing you all sweet November
                                                          days!

                                                           Thank you for visiting me.
