My Indoor Garden

Hello everyone,

Here on the Island  winter does
not want to let go just yet as
we are getting several inches
of snow.

The good news is it will melt soon
into the ground and there is lots
of perennials poking up.....
more and more each day.

So for now I will enjoy my little
indoor garden.

A lemon scented geranium has
lots of dainty blooms and the
leaves are very fragrant.

I have had this statue for many years
now and she adds charm to the
library where these plants
enjoy the southern light.

Did you notice my new blue chintz teacup
and the dark blue teapot(a gift from
my sister in law).

It is a hearty soup kind of a
day here today and I have
a batch of scones in the oven.

Looking forward to some
spring weather though...soon!

Thanks for visiting me,

I am so fond of Spring weather. Ready for it. Soon our tulips will be in bloom. Not far behind will be the Irises, which I adore. Blessings to you!

Dearest Carolyn,
Lovely photos and your sister-in-law gifted you with a nice gift!
The soup served in your red transferware looks magazine worthy.
Today I too made some homemade soup, cream of mushroom with fresh mushrooms and coconut cream for health reasons and low sodium chicken broth with green onions.
It is not quite spring yet, still breezy though warmer.

Good Morning,Carolyn!

It's a hot soup kinda day here, too. We woke to a dusting of snow but the rain has started and soon it'll be gone. We have had a great winter but it seems we've had colder temps and more snow in the last few weeks than in January and February. The good thing is that these recent snowfalls only last a day or so, if even that!

The lemon-scented geranium is beautiful! I can smell the scones baking and wish I was there to enjoy that yummy lunch with you.

Cheers to a wonderful day, dear friend.

Love Linda
