A Spring Tea in the Sunroom

Hello everyone,

I am happy that spring is almost
here although it doesn't feel like
it just yet.However, our little
sunroom is looking pretty
spring like and is warm
and flooded with sunshine
for much of the day.

So, I finally got in the mood to
take and share some photos
of it today.

I am using my vintage mauve
and white transferware
tea set.

As usual this china was collected
here and there over time.
The antique quilt was a
local find several years ago.

A closeup of the transferware pattern.

I am thankful for the peace
and beauty in our little
corner of the world
and pray for peace
in the Ukraine
and around the
world.

Thank you for visiting
me today.

Take care,
Carolyn

I love your mauve dishes So beautiful with the quilted tablecloth/quilt.
I'm ready for flowers and spring. Hopefully no more snow.
Happy Spring.

I just love the white wicker and blue hydrangeas together, and your lavender transfer ware is lovely. I think we are all praying for the courageous people in the Ukraine.

Oh yes I do love those purples.. they look purple to me on my monitor but it is a little "off" I think! The colors are so so pretty and invite spring in. It's not here yet in Central Oregon.. but before I know it, summer will come without any spring warning. We have two seasons.... summer (hot) and winter (super cold)... not much print inbetween. The pitcher is so so pretty! Enjoy the sunshine! Marilyn

What an exquisite tea pot! I'm amazed at how extensive your transferware collection is! I love the idea of collecting it in different colours for different seasons, but unfortunately my house is much too small to contemplate such an action. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us and God bless.
