Hello everyone,
It has been hot here lately so it is
a good time to enjoy tea in the garden,
especially in a nice shady spot.
So today we are enjoying our
afternoon tea in our garden
terrace. The terrace is covered
with virginia creeper which
makes it shady and cooler.
Shades of pink for our
tea today.
A pretty pink quilt covers the
table and of course I picked
some flowers from the garden
for bouquets.
I love these garden chairs that I
bought at Winner's several years
ago.
Thank you for joining me for tea
in the garden today.
Carolyn

Carolyn, I just LOVE this entire ensemble of coral and white! Can you please tell me what the large vessel is that is holding your mixed bouquet? Your posts are always so lovely.
Also, please tell me the name of that beautiful coral/pink rose. Thank you.
Oh Carolyn.. you have my heart with all the pink wonderful things! LOVE those pink garden chairs! The flower pitchers are just beautiful... love the flowers and your terrace looks so cool and refreshing. Would would NOT love tea and cookies there in the shade??? Be still my heart....... xoxo Marilyn
What a lovely setting for a tea! Everything so dainty and perfect!
Hi Carolyn
it sounds like you've been having great summer weather which is great. I live in Southern Ontario we've had so much rain this summer it feels like we haven't had much of a summer here and it's the middle of August almost!
Anyway your garden is stunning I hope this Covid scare is over soon so we can travel again, love to go visit PEI again and go visit your garden.
Beautiful photos
I love the beautiful quilt for the table covering!
Tea anytime it isn't rainy is gorgeous in the garden.
Thanks everyone for your kind words....I appreciate them.
Lisa D. , The large pitcher was a gift from my daughter several years ago.It came from Winners.
I love it still and have had many compliments on it.
Sadly, the rose is a climber that I have forgotten the name of.
Maria B. I hope we can all feel safe travelling soon.
Take care,
Carolyn
Everything looks very lovely and inviting, Carolyn. I just love pink roses. Unfortunately, here in western Massachusetts, the mosquitoes are very bad this year. I cannot sit outside at all. Take care and have a great rest of the summer. I always love visiting your blog! Susan
What exquisite images. Such beauty is a balm for my weary soul. Thank you, Carolyn, for sharing this beauty with us. Today, when there is so much ugliness in the world, it seems almost an act of defiance to focus on the beautiful and good. God bless you. <3
Beautiful quilt, Beautiful photos
Complimenti e grazie di condividere con noi queste meraviglie .
