Welcome Spring!

Hello everyone,

I am happy to see the arrival of
spring here. We have had lovely
sunny mild weather here all week.
Today, however we are getting a lot
of rain.

I am sharing today some cheerful photos
that I took in previous years that bring
a smile to my face.

Love these garden tulips and daffodils.....
can't wait until they bloom again.

 Daffodils and coffee cake.

Love lupin season

This is making me hungry.

Time to relax by the pond?

I do love lilac season!

I am so looking forward to
color in the garden again.

Happy Spring!

Thanks for visiting me today
and take care,

Carolyn

I can imagine how much you are looking forward to Spring.
Thank you for sharing your sublime garden with us. You must spend much time baking delicious treats to complement your garden and home photos.
I'm sure all you do to spread joy is appreciated by many around the world.
Happy days to you and your family!

Happy Spring Dear Carolyn. Your pictures are beautiful. I am looking forward to having colour in my garden, too. My daffs are up about three inches in some spots. We are getting closer to lilac time! Cheerio and stay safe, Laura

What a thing to look forward to cultivating and cutting and just plain adoring! You have the best estate grounds. Just lovely, Carolyn.

Have a fabulous weekend.

Your blog is so therapeutic. It's the only thing keeping me in Canada! Our spring here in Ontario seems a bit early.

I am a mother of four little ones, a gardener and I hope one day to have my house and garden one tenth as beautiful as yours.

Oh Carolyn... your photos and little collages are so gorgeous! The colors of orange and peach just do me in.... I just have to sigh over each picturesque photo and like one gal said, I wish my yard could even be 1/100th as wonderful as yours! I know you've spent years working on it to make it what it is today! And of course, I got hungry too just looking at the food, especially the tea and those yummy sandwiches! It's noon here in Oregon and time for me to go find some lunch. I think I'll have a lovely little sandwich! Take care... Marilyn

So very beautiful! Thank you for sharing all this loveliness. May I please ask, is your pond a natural one, or did you make it some how? I would love to have such a peaceful spot to sit and ponder. We have a large property, but no pond to speak of, and I am wondering if it might be possible to create one.

Hi Laura Jeanne
Thank you for your visit. Our pond was man made by Ducks Unlimited about 9 years ago in a boggy area in our field. We enjoy watching all the wild life around it.....very peaceful.
If your soil will hold water it should be possible to have one dug on your property maybe even by Ducks Unlimited.
Good luck!
