Hello everyone,
Today, I am reliving a beautiful holiday in
Old Quebec City at Christmas time a few
years ago.
I always love to drive up to Quebec at
any time of the year but especially at
Christmas time when it is so beautifully
decorated for the season. I love the Christmas
season so this is all right up my alley!
There are so many unique photo ops.
It is beautiful in the daytime but
it is magical at night.
My husband and I love to walk
so we have put on miles
during our trips.
I always love to have some
snow when we go.
All the snowshoes make an
interesting addition to the
garland over the beautiful
entry to the shop.
I was able to get a pair of
snowshoes in Quebec to
take home with me and
they now decorate a door
on our home.
This year my husband retired so
we were looking forward to travel
but alas Covid struck so we will
be content to stay home and
enjoy the beauty of our
little province (PEI).
When we get a nice snowfall
here I will be off with my camera
to share some Island beauty!

with me!
Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
You inspired my husband and me to visit Quebec. We flew to Boston and then rented a car and drove to Maine and then to Quebec. We visited the city in early September in 2016. I loved the city and the French influence. We then drove to Nigeria Falls and then flew home from Buffalo to San Francisco. It was a wonderful trip. My next trip is to visit your island. Maybe in 2021.
Fondly,
Betty
Hi Betty,
I am glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Quebec City and Niagara Falls.
Hope you can visit our Island this coming year!
Stay safe,
Carolyn
Oh, how lovely! That is soooo on my bucket list. My mother's father's family came from that area and my older brother has been there and absolutely loved Quebec. I cannot wait to travel again and would love to see that at Christmastime! Thanks for the hopes and dreams of "one day."
In the meantime. pls stay safe, stay well. Congrats to hub's retirement. That's awesome. Glad he doesn't have to deal with all that during Covid.
So nice indeed
Buongiorno, stupendo luogo e foto. Arriverà il momento per viaggiare. Una serena giornata 🌹❤️🍀🌈
I love your posts!! Old Quebec is SO beautiful! We visited from New York a coupld of years ago and it is SO Lovely and My son proposed to his now wife there on a quaint street and hired a violinist that played "Their" song.. Thank-you for sharing!!
I remember this fabulous trip, Carolyn! I have been sharing some pics on my FB page lately as well. It's so nice to relive the beautiful memories, even if we can't be there yet for awhile until the pandemic passes. It gives us something to look forward to. Your 1st image, I think, is of the shop where I bought my mom a lovely wrap for Christmas that year. Do you remember a shop on Petit Champlain, in Lower Town, at the base of the funicular, that sold gorgeous embroidered tablecloths, pillow cases & runners with winter scenes? I wonder if they are still open. I've search & searched online & so far have not come up with anything...
Wishing you a beautiful day,
Linda at Beauriful Ideas
Merveilleux !!!!
