Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone,

It has been such a long time since
I have posted here that I am sure
many of you gave up on me.

It just seems that there is always
something on the go and once I
get out of the habit it is harder
to take the time to blog.
I am thinking that as the weather
turns colder I will hopefully
get back into blogging on a
more regular basis.

Anyway, I would like to wish
a Happy Thanksgiving to all
my Canadian friends today.

A fall tablescape from a few years ago
set by the our pond.

Autumn in our terrace.
These transferware dishes
are made in Japan and have
an autumn look to them.

The leaves are turning here but not at
there peak yet. I always enjoy going for
drives on country roads here when
the fall foliage is at it's best.

Apple cider is a favorite fall drink.

The cozy colors of autumn.

I hope you are all doing well and
I plan to be back here soon.

                                                                                  Thank you for visiting!
                                                                                                  Take care,
                                                                                                          Carolyn

  5. Hi Carolyn,
I always look for your beautiful posts. Instagram is getting more popular with old-time bloggers. I have given up blogging because of my age. My focus is on my husband's health issues and I can't lug the pretty dishes around anymore. I love to visit your blog and remember the early days of blogging.
Thank you for sharing your fabulous PEI with me and others.
    Fondly
    Betty

  10. Happy Thanksgiving Carolyn! Your posts are so beautiful and soothing! I enjoy them so much! Hope someday we can get to Prince Edward Island. It is on my list of places to go. We’re at the time in our lives where we can travel yet the pandemic keeps us from doing it. But in he meantime, I do so enjoy your gardens and home.

  12. So good to hear from you! I was wondering........ your photos of times past are just GORGEOUS! they could be postcard covers. The colors of Autumn are so bright and vivid and warm... I love them too. Your table settings remind me of when my mom would decorate pretty Thanksgiving tables in years past. I'm glad you are well... I know.. this last summer has sped by and I'm still blinking and wondering where it went. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.. ours in the US is coming on Nov. 26th! Marilyn
