Tea in the Boathouse

        Hello everyone,

     I hope your summer is going well.

         This week I have been enjoying some

     relaxation as we have no tours for

    a few weeks so I spent some time

  relaxing in the Boathouse with a

        book and some favorite magazines.

And of course my tea.

                                                                      Tea, lemon cupcakes and roses~
                                                                      can't get much sweeter than that!

                                                          I can't believe July is almost over
                                                                     I think I better get a few beach days
                                                                     in this coming week......It wouldn't
                                                                     be summer on Prince Edward Island
                                                                     with out some trips to the beach.

In the Garden

Hello everyone,

 In spite of a dry spell the garden is still

doing well but rain would certainly be

welcome.

One of my top ten plants in our

garden is delphiniums.

We have the tall stately elatums

as well as the shorter Magic

Fountains.

                   We are busy getting the garden all

                    tidied up to welcome  bus tour of 

                 gardeners from New Brunswick

tomorrow afternoon.

Bits of Beauty

                                                                         Hello everyone,

                                                              Today I am sharing some bits
                                                              of beauty ~ mainly garden beauty.

                                                              Our roses are doing well this year
                                                             but I am hoping we get some rain
                                                             for them and the rest of the garden
                                                             soon. It has been drier here than
                                                             usual.
                                                             

                                                                     Several clematis are blooming now.

                                                                         Prairie Princess rose is
                                                                        a hearty climber.

                                                                   The delphiniums are also blooming
                                                                   in the background on the left.

                          A pretty bouquet of English Roses

                      and strawberry shortcake.....can't

              get much sweeter than that!

                                                              going to the Garden Tea Party at
                                                              Fanningbank at 2 p.m. ..... a fun
                                                              day out.

Sunny Summer Day Tea

  Hello everyone,

   It is another beautiful sunny summer

day here again.

I took some time off from some garden

chores......mainly deadheading to

tidy things up. So, I headed out

to the terrace to catch the summer

breeze and enjoy afternoon tea.

        It is strawberry season here still

           so I am enjoying another bowl of

fresh berries.

   

          A pot of tea with a
