White Cottage Tea

   Hello everyone,

We are enjoying beautiful sunny summer
days here so I usually enjoy tea in the garden.
However, today I am having my tea time in
the bay window area in our kitchen/dining room.

There is a  comfy seat for
                                                                           you to join me.

A special treat for you as well.

                                                                          A simple garden bouquet.

   Lemon cupcakes.

The teapot was a gift from a friend
and as luck would it I already had
                                                                         a matching teacup.

Hope you enjoyed sharing in my
tea time and thank you for your
                                                        visit.

                                                                             Take care,

                                                                                     Carolyn

Oh Carolyn.... I love it all! Just when I think I have to have all my loved pastels in a room (like pinks, greens and aquas).... I see your magical whites and creams in your dining room and I go back to wanting an all white/cream living space! It is so calm and cozy and feels so good! I love the little lacy cupcake holders.. and lemon cupcakes? yum yum. My faves. I would love to sit there with you for a cup of tea some afternoon... if only I didn't live so far away! Enjoy these wonderful lazy (?) summer days! Marilyn

Good morning, I so enjoy your posts. My great grandma came to Montana with her sister from Nova Scotia. They were looking for husbands in the Butte mining area.....and found them! I would love to visit your area of the world someday and dig up some family roots. Your home and gardens are beautiful.

Your garden looks amazing for August. The heat here has been awful this year and the rain is only making my weeds grow taller. I am convinced I only have a green thumb in my dreams. Longing for cooler weather as is everybody else I suppose and then for some serious flowerbed revivals. Wishing I was sipping that tea with you!
Hugs
