Fun on a Winter Day

           Hello everyone,

It was a beautiful winter day here so after
taking down the rest of the Christmas decor
(which makes me a little sad) I went outdoors
to enjoy the beauty in the garden.

So I decided to do a little
photo shoot for you.

A mix of  plaids/tartans
makes a cheerful scene.

                                                                        I love these thrift store
                                                                        finds......perfect for a
                                                                        winter picnic.

Vintage skates

Well, that was my winter fun for
                                                                            the day!

When, I asked my husband how many
people he knew would think it was fun
to haul a bunch of stuff outside and
take photos of it with cold bare hands
then download and edit them to post.
..........his reply " I am not going there!"

I take that to mean not a lot! Ha! Ha!

Oh! guess I better go out and haul it
                                                                            all back in again!

                                                                                              Hope you enjoy!

                                                                                                           Carolyn

Happy New Year, Carolyn! Oh, what a beautiful spot you've created! I had to giggle at your hubby's response. Only a dedicated blogger would do this and you did it up beautifully! Thank you for popping in to see me and your kind words for my little Carter and me! Here's to another year of blogging with you.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

You deserve a nice big hot cup of tea for all your effort that we appreciate so much. Wonderful winter scene and there's nothing like plaid to make everything look cozy (even in the snow)!

Thank you to bother to haul the stuff outside for your photos and to share your winter garden. Very inspiring indeed. A snowy garden has something of magic. Helene

Happy New Year, Carolyn! You do have a lot of energy to bring all of your pretty red and tartan things out into the snow for a shoot! I had to laugh at your hubby's answer!
I enjoyed your Sunday tea post too. Winter whites are so pretty and soothing. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

Photos are beautiful. Looks like you have more snow in Canada than we have in southern Finland. Wish you Happy New Year 2016!

This is a lovely post Carolyn. I, for one, appreciate your efforts for doing this in winter's cold. It looks beautiful. Of course, it's much colder today than it has been so I hope you are inside where it's warm.

Love the tartan look, but then again as a Scot that's probably why! The red just pops in the snow. Hope you weren't too cold!
