Tea in the Garden

     Hello everyone,

It was a beautiful day here today
and I finally had time for tea in the
garden.
                                                                       This little enclosed garden is
my favorite part of the garden
in the spring so what better place
to enjoy a relaxing tea and enjoy
the song of the birds and the beauty
                                                                       of nature all around us.

                                                                      I picked another big bouquet
of lilacs and am using blue
                                                                      and white transferware.
Martha (the statue) is an elegant
addition to this space and the mirror
behind her adds interest and reflects
the garden. It is shaded by the trees so
the sun doesn't shine on it ( a fire hazard).

                                                                         Spode teacups

The lilacs are so beautiful now but
the first of my peonies have started
to bloom as the garden is progressing
quickly ~ such a beautiful time of the
                                                                    year!

                                                                                Take care,

                                                                                   Carolyn
