A Pop of Red

I have been thinking about decorating
for Christmas lately as I am sure many
of you are too.

When I found these  little red shoes
I thought they would be cute in a
                      Christmas vignette along with
                   the old sewing machine box.
Some old books and I am set to go.

                                                               I also,gathered a few flowers still
hanging on in the garden and used
this old coffee can for a vase.  ~
which cried out for a little more red.
So my red vintage enamelware coffee pot
and polka dot mug along with a vintage quilt
                                                              completed the picture.

Just a little prelude to the
upcoming holiday season.

What about you......are you
getting in the mood to start
decorating for Christmas?

Thank you for stopping by!

Carolyn, You definitely have the decorator's touch - such lovely vignettes. I especially like the arrangement in the red coffee can. Have a great weekend! :)

Ohhhh, those shoesies are adorable.

Yes, Carolyn, I'm "thinking" of Christmas decorating. Even bought a little ceramic tree at a thrifie yesterday.

Hope your weekend is delightful. Susan

This posting is a precious site with those shoes. I think Canada has a better time for Thanksgiving - ours isn't until November 27th so really so that's just 27 days till Christmas. I think Canada has a better time table. I am looking forward to your decorations!
