I was looking through my files today trying to
clean things up a bit as I have way too many
photos saved.
However, I found these photos that I
took awhile ago for my
Afternoon Tea book and
didn't use so I thought
you might enjoy seeing them.
As many of you know, I am a bit
of a dishaholic.
I love transferware in all colors.
I collect it mainly at thrift shops or yard sales.
However, a few pieces were new
like the ones above.
Toile is another favorite of mine ~
whether it is fabric or wallpaper.
Antique sugar bowl.
Well, that is a few of my blue and white
transferware and toile. Someday, I will
show off some of my other collections.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
Blue and white dishes are my favorite so I was swooning over all your pictures! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I am a dishoholic also, and immediately was drawn to read your post with that leading photo. The toile is equally beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward black & white and brown transferware, and I also love black toile. The blue & white is gorgeous, but for some reason I have very little blue in my decor, so I stay away from collecting it - you're safe! :-)
Best,
Rita
Swoonnnnnn!!!!!!!!!! I adore blue and white dishes and as soon as I saw your post I came by. Your collection is gorgeous and I love transferware and toile

Many flower boxes are still thriving at this time of year.
Wishing you a beautiful day,

ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn, We have so much in common! Would you please remind me and others the china you had on your blog that you bought on the Island, I'm remembering it as having a purple scene? Can you help by referencing what it is and where you found it? Thank you! Sandi- MA/USA
