A Beautiful Book and Tea Time

                                                                           Welcome!

I hope you had a lovely weekend.
We were invited to a family brunch,
and a birthday celebration for my brother
and I also was invited to a lovely afternoon
                                                       tea.
Today, my tea time is a blue and
white theme and again a mix of
                                                       patterns. Blue and white always
                                                       looks so crisp and fresh.

With my tea I have a beautiful
new book that was an amazing
gift from a fellow gardener and
                                                         photographer all the way from
                                                         Norway.
When this beautiful book arrived in the mail
everything stopped as I made a cup of tea
and sat down to enjoy it all.

My photos of the book do not do it
justice but you can see more on
Helen's beautiful blog or on her Pinterest
                                                               Here.
It is amazing to me that even though we are
so far apart we have many of the same plants
in our gardens and even the same color preferences.

                                                                     I love her greenhouse.
                                                                Helen grows beautiful roses.
                                                                  Lovely peonies too!
Inside Helen also shares my love for linens and lace.
Her photography is so beautiful!

Now, if only we lived closer I am
sure we would enjoy many tea times together!
Thank you so much Helen for this most
beautiful gift~ I will treasure it always!
You can visit Helen on her blog  Fredholm where
she shares more beautiful photos from her
home and garden. You can even order a
copy of this beautiful book from her if
you like.

Now a couple of shots of my very enjoyable
afternoon tea with a new friend who has
an amazing collection of beautiful china and quilts
                                                    and all things lovely!

Reminds me of a Downton Abbey tea time.

I felt very pampered! Thank you so much for
a lovely tea and visit !

Hope you have a great day!

                                                                             Carolyn
