Vintage Touches

                                                                                Hello everyone,

I hope you  had a lovely weekend.~ it was a
                                                       beautiful one here.
I took some shots of some of the details of
the Vintage Tea here last week.
The teapot about is a very old one that I
have had for awhile but the plate belongs to my friend Snow.
It is the little touches that add the charm.

I love all the handwork on this and the
                                                                      message as well.

A Mc Coy pottery vase with a garden bouquet
the pretty spooner was my Mom's.

We used lots of vintage linems
for the tea. The pillows were made
                                                                       from vintage Ralph Lauren fabric.
                                                                         Soft & sweet.
                                                            Just a quick peek....more later.

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.

                                                                             Have a lovely day!

Carolyn, your images are so pretty. I love the colour of the hydrangeas; simply scrumptious! That is a wonderful teapot and how nice that Snow's plate matches so well. Looks like we're in for some lovely weather this week. Heading for the beach later. Enjoy your day!

Blessings,
Sandi

Your blog is such EYE CANDY for me! I love looking at your main page as much as anything else... all the pretty pinks and greens and roses and flowers... I'm in heaven. I love every time you post and so enjoy your vintage teapots and plates. That dark pink teapot with plate is simply stunning and very unusual. I wish I could be there in person to glory in all of the colors of the season! Love your photography and photos too.

Beautiful teascapes! The teapot is so elegant and the color so rich. Your Mother's spooner is in one of my favorite colors and caught my eye. Love how you used the linens. A cozy and lovely setting for tea. Happy Tea Day!

So lovely, sorry I missed the tea. Love the red teapot, gorgeous. Some of those fabrics look a little familiar, so glad they found a great home.
