I hope you are enjoying the weekend. It is already time
to welcome September but before we do I am touring
the end of August garden one last time this year.
After coming home from Basinhead beach last
evening I did a little tour around the garden and had to
go back in for my camera to capture the beauty of the
phlox hydrangea etc.
We do have a lot of varieties of phlox in the
garden and they have done well this year.

So lovely, Carolyn. Your beautiful garden shows no signs of fading. We're in an apartment for the time being, so our garden is a simple hanging basket of purple ruffled petunias, red verbena and white lobelia. Happy Labour Day, Carolyn! I came by earlier to see your post and was interrupted by my son's Skype call. Then lo, and behold, I'm back and you have a tea on. Will have to check that out as well. I'm like you in that I want to hold on to summertime as long as I can!
Your gardens are so lovely. I wish I had gotten my aunt and uncle over to see your beautiful gardens but unfortunately neither one of them is well these days so I don't expect them over again any time soon. I always gift them with your newest book though. Enjoy this first week of September.
