I am sending you a postcard from the sunny south!

We arrived in Florida yesterday for a two week vacation
and we are loving the warm, sunny days.

                                                  Sending you love and sunshine!

P.s the postcard is a photo from last summer.

and I have to say I am loving a break from our
                                                long snowy winter

good timing Carolyn - sounds like the weather at home is terrible - it was all over the news yesterday - enjoy yourself! J

Olá Carolyn,

Fico feliz em saber que já estão na Flórida. Aproveitem bastante os momentos em família, são únicos. Que o sol traga muita luz e ao retornar que o encanto da primavera esteja realmente na ilha.

Torço muito por você.

Fique bem.

And it's no wonder that you have repaired to the South, for some well-deserve R&R. When you come back, I hope you find a major change in the climate of your landscape, and a riot of Spring-life bursting forth.

What area of Florida are you in? I am thinking you were in Mt. Dora, Florida, a few years ago, and went to the tea room. Are you in that area this trip?

It sounds like we were in Charleston at the exact same time. The weather was perfect! Who knows we may have walked past each other on the busy streets!

That is probably the closest I would have been to meeting you in person as we arrived the same day but only stayed a week. We were in Hilton Head overnight at the end of that week.

Your book looks lovely, just like your blog! I am a tea fanatic and would love the opportunity to own your new book. I can't believe how much you get done with all the work it takes to maintain your beautiful gardens.
