A Cath Kidston Look in the Porch

                                                                    Hello everyone,
We had a touch of spring here today and thankfully there was a
fair bit of melting going on outdoors.
Indoors, I made a couple of new pillows with my Cath Kidston
fabric from England to give the porch a spring look.
The little tea set looks like Cath Kidston china......but isn't.
I had a plain thermal tea towel so I dressed it up with with some of
the leftover fabric and added the pom pom trim.
Both fabric are Cath Kidston that coordinate well.

                                                       Pink tulips add spring cheer.

Love the polka dots on the tea cup.

A little more spring cheer on the table in the porch.

The ivy in the window will soon grow to cover the
heart shape wire ( made from an old coat hanger).

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

                                                                                                              Carolyn

I love Cath Kidston's beautiful fabrics. They look so pretty in your porch. The last photo is so pretty with the green rabbit and the flowers. I hope you get through this next storm safely. Spring weather isn't far away now.

Love your pillows! I was just out shopping today for a couple of pillows and I always have the hardest time finding what I want. Hubby said I should just make my own. I'm going to show him yours!

Boa viagem, aproveite bastante.

Gorgeous Carolyn ...You have inspired me to make some new pillows for my Spring decor out of lovely vintage sheets I have bought at the thrift store ...

Going to start this week on turning my guest room in to a lovely Shabby Chic room ...been collecting items from months ..can't wait to see how it turns out

Thanks for all your inspiration ..and the few minutes a day I take reading your blog with a cup of tea in a beautiful teacup and sometimes a butter wedding cookie ..

Here comes Spring kindest regards Janet of Maisonvogue on Etsy.com

Ooh that is so pretty, I don't think I have seen Kath Kidston's range in NZ although I am sure it is here. Very lovely combination of colours.

I do hope your snowy weather has settled and you are more heading towards spring.

I'm owner of some of their beautiful sewing books.

Carolyn, your pillows are simply lovely. I love the pea service that you used. I could sit and read my Pennyfoot Hotel or Tea Shop mysteries for hours. Although, my porch is not nearly as beautiful as your sun room, I think that I'll go out now and enjoy a great book before our next storm arrives later today.
Thanks, as always for sharing your beautiful home.

What a gorgeous and cozy spot Carolyn. I can see myself spending an afternoon reading and enjoying a cup of tea in this beautiful space. My goodness Carolyn, you and I have very similar taste. I have that same pretty blue floral fabric, tea pot and sugar/cream holders. It is scary.

Have a wonderful week.

Such a pretty post, Carolyn. Love the fabrics with your pretty tea set. I like poms poms too. The bunny is adorable and the ivy growing around the heart shaped wire wreath is lovely!
Are you ready for yet another snow storm? Wonder when this winter weather is coming to an end. Stay cozy!

Blessings,
Sandi

Garden decor has extended to patio decor and in that realm I am very comfortable. I enjoy the look of cast iron or bronze chairs and tables. It feels like the garden is a free place to put all of my metal furniture.

I'm a relatively new reader of your blog and I've noticed that some of the pictures in older posts are no longer available--mostly in summer posts, I think? Is this intentional or just an online quirk?

Beautiful vignette! If you don't mind, who it the maker of that tea cup and saucer?
