Sunday Respite

Hello everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend ~ I know some of you have had some
really nasty weather lately and after our storm yesterday it turned really cold
here but at least it was nice and sunny so that helps a lot.

I hope you will enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon tea.

I enjoy my day of rest on Sundays as a little respite is
good for the soul as well as the body.

                                                                         ~ Winter White ~
Hope you are staying warm and cosy today!

Thank you, Brenda for the lovely feature on your blog
Ladies in the Sun ~ I am very touched by your kind
                                        words!

Thank you to all of you as well for visiting and leaving
                                        kind words as well.

                                                                    Carolyn

Our weekend is warm, but next week very cold. Love the lace teapot, just beautiful. I love drinking tea anytime, but especially when it is cold outside.

I'd enjoy a cup of tea with you, but then a Sunday afternoon nap! So good!

The hot tea looks good to me, Carolyn, since it's below zero where I am right now. F-f-f-Freezing!

Take care. Susan

You have the most beautiful whites, and I love seeing your pictures, they help me to aspire to having such beauty in my own home. Love all your tea sets servers, all of it! And on your header picture that special little glow of light from behind the bed and canopy....so dreamy!

Morning Carolyn, We have a dry sunny Sunday here in the UK, after all the wind and rain we have had over Christmas and the new Year.
Love your afternoon tea china, of course here in the UK most people have milk in their tea.

A very Happy New Year to you and your family. Jackie in Surrey, UK.x

What a beautiful post. Your white dishes are my favorite of all and the tea-cup is so pretty. I love the first photo with the addition of the lamb. Our weather here in Ontario is finally warming up to -1 instead of -30. Such a relief. Wishing you a warm and cozy Sunday, Caroline. Hugs, Deb

Beautiful tea table, Carolyn! I love your pretty teapots. We are set to have frigid temps for the next few days, so hot beverages will be my drink of choice this week. : )

What a beautiful way to spend a snowy winter afternoon, Carolyn. :) Yes, it's brutal here in Michigan. Blizzard-like weather, 14" of new snow, wind chills down to -25. We're all snuggled up inside and plan on staying here for at least three days before venturing out to do any plowing and shoveling. Hope to get some inside projects completed! :)
