Today I had a few good friends over for a Valentine's Day Tea. I went with a pink vintage look(probably no surprise there)
I picked up a couple of bundles of Vanco tulips-pink of course!
I used a mix of my pink vintage china along with pink linens(Thank you again Lauriane for the pretty placemats,I always remember our special afternoon in the garden when I use them). Lauriane and her husband from Rio de Janeiro were very special visitors to our garden last summer and you can read about it here.
Sour cream raspberry coffee cake, sugar cookies.meringues and toffee.
I made these melt in your mouth meringues for the first time~perfect for Valentine's Day.
Heather poured the tea while I took the photos.
After everyone left I had another cup of tea and the last piece of coffee cake with my husband and then a nice walk to get some exercise and fresh air.
It was a lovely day!!!
I am joining Tablescape Thursday at BTNOP today,
and My Romantic home for Show and Tell.
Thank you for stopping by.
Wishing you a most Romantic Valentine's Day!

A lovely tea by a lovely lady for her lovely friends.
Very nicely done, everything is picture perfect.
I love meringe cookies and love how easy they are to make - but I always have so many left over, not sure why - so I kinda quit making them a while back.....I love their weird crunchy melty odd squish they make when one pops one into one's mouth, don't you?
Everything looks amazing Carolyn, and your company is a group of very special ladies...
You are truly Blessed with good friends, who adore you & your home oh & your blog too...
Hopefully one of these days I will get over...

Dear Carolyn,
Another beautiful tea. Oh, I just savor every detail. Love that you used the handkerchiefs as napkins. I am so crazy for that teapot your hubby gave you. All the food-every detail looked divine.
