Black & White Transferware Tea

                                                     Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We enjoyed a lovely turkey dinner here with all the trimmings with all but one(out of province) of our family present. The food was wonderful but the giggles coming from the little ones table was the best of all!
Anyway,it has been busy lately so my camera is getting a rest. I hope you don't mind me reposting  some photos from a garden tea taken last year the end of September.
The theme was black and white.

Hydrangeas always play a big part in our garden right through until October..
The old bike belonged to my Dad and always sits in our garden in the summer as a reminder of my Dad who shared my love of gardening.
As many of you know I also love transferware dishes and have a collection of several colors.I love the black and white transferware but it harder to find around here.

Would you like to join me for tea?
Thank you for visiting!

Today,I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea time Tuesday, and A Delightsome Life for a Return to Loveliness.

Take care,

Carolyn

Just stopping in to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. I am glad you and your family had a wonderful time. I smiled reading about the giggles, too.

Autumn is looking beautiful at your home. I hope you will be celebrating the Themed Pink Saturdays with us.

Hi Carolyn,
I always enjoy seeing your beautiful garden and would love to join you for tea :)
I love hydrangeas but they just don't do well where I live just to hot for these delicate beauties, so I will swoon over yours.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth

Just lovely, Carolyn! Who could mind your reposting pictures from last September. The arbor and that whole area decorated with your lovely hydrangeas is just beautiful and beckoning. Love the black and white transferware. I find that there isn't a color of transferware I don't like!

Hello Carolyn
The black and white tea from last year still looks nice for autumn this year.
You must have had a large gathering for thanksgiving, we were only 6 for dinner.

Hello,

I found your blog by your link on "A Delightsome Life".

Everything about your blog is amazing and beautiful.

Looking over your blog I discovered that I have used a couple of your photos, which I found on Pinterest, on my blog.

I used them in my posts I created of my make-believe journey back to my grandmother's house. I searched for photos on Pinterest which looked and felt like the perfect image of the grandmother's house any child would love and remember.

Now, "meeting" you and seeing your blog, I am feeling bad. I had no intention of "stealing" anything belonging to another blog, but somehow I feel guilty.

If you object to my using photos of your from Pinterest, I will be happy to remove them from my posts.

Either way, I am following you blog because it is one of the loveliest ever!

:) Hope

The little ones' giggles are the sweetest of treats! Lol I never tire of looking at your transferware, Carolyn, m'dear - I think next to pink, the black and white is a fave, too! It's so hard to choose, isn't it?! Love these two colours mixed together; then I don't have to! :-))) Hope your week ahead is lovely and the autumn colours abundant...
Hugs,

Happy Thanksgiving, Carolyn! Those giggles always make my heart happy. We had our big dinner today and my son and his wife hosted the dinner. His in-laws and us and all the little ones. We had such a lovely time.
I love your black transferware! It is so elegant and you're right, it's very hard to find here. I always enjoy seeing your Dad's bike too. Love the hydrangeas!Thank you for joining me today and have a lovely week.

Blessings,

Hello Carolyn, I have never seen black and white transferware - heart swooning - so lovely and elegant - beautifully displayed in your garden...so inspiring - love, love, love hydrangeas. In our area they don't stay on the bush prettily because of the heat...I'll just have to find different varieties. I too gained my love of gardening from my Dad...miss him much...when I garden I think of him - I do appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,
Kathy

This is the first I have seen of black and white transfer-ware. It is gorgeous. I am very fond of the brown and white, too. I would love to find some black and white pieces and will watch for it now.

Hi Carolyn....At last! My blog had some kind of blocker that prevented me from going to your blog.

My son FINALLY fixed it tonight. I'm sooooo grateful.

Love the black and white transferware. Don't think I've ever seen it. Pretty, pretty, pretty. Susan

I did not realize how scarce b&w tw was. I only have 2 plates (I got recently for pennies!), and at your mention of their scarcity, I checked ebay. Oh My! Sticker shock! But, gorgeous. I think I have seen it before, perhaps years ago, in the original Victoria mag? Or MS Living, perhaps? Anyway, I especially love the mostly-white-with-color-kisses bouquet in the gorgeous vase. A close second- the gold tipping the teacup. I can't remember seeing tw with gold trim. Lovely!
