Rubberbooters

                                                 Hello everyone,
Isn't this a cute idea? I remember seeing some rubber boots used for flower containers awhile ago on Pinterest so I collected a few from thrift shops as well as some old ones from my grandchildren.
We put them up on the old door in Chelsea Garden inside the terrace to give it some life. There is an old mirror in the window which reflects them also.
Such a cute idea-don't you think?

They have such cute little boots these days.
I bought these at a thrift shop but they came from Old Navy before that. I didn't put these up because they are just so cute-I thought I might have a new granddaughter someday to splash around in these!

I spotted these in Mahone Bay earlier this year along the sidewalk-so cute!
Loving my phlox right now too.

I might actually dig out my own rubberboots today as we finally got some rain last night and I see a few puddles in our driveway!

I am joining My Romantic Home for Show And Tell and How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday and The Rose Garden in Malevik for Show Off Saturday today.

Have a fun weekend!

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Love, love, love the boot flower containers. The boots are so pretty on their own....but with the flowers they become extra special. Thanks for showing your display.

Hi Carolyn,

Oh goodness - what an adorable idea to hang the boots. I also adore old rain boots and use them in my garden for flowers and as decorations - I just painted my old green Welles with Sunflowers in them, but never thought of hanging them !!
Thank you for sharing.
Have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Erin

I tell you what Carolyn, you are so delightfully creative! This is about the sweetest, most whimsical thing I have ever seen! Love it. I mentioned your blog in my latest post - I made a Peach Cream Pie - the recipe was in the latest Taste of Home cookbook - a little different from your recipe. Also, I started a Pinterest board based upon Sandi's posts on your garden - becoming quite popular - I hope the two of you get a lot of visits as a result! Hope you have a blessed weekend,
Kathy

How cute are these bright boots! And wouldn't kids have fun with this. I am in love with your phlox too! I had clouds of white David at my last house. Do you have a trick to keep the lower half of the plant from getting mildew??

Those boots ARE adorable for certain and perfect with the flowers in them! and, once again, I ask myself the question, why don't they make those for big girls, too? i.e. 44 year old girlies! The little girls get all the prettiest dresses and all the cutest accessories, don't you think?! It's just not fair!!! ;)
