Cottage Living

Hello everyone,
It was a cold  and windy day here and  now it is raining as well. We do need the rain but I will be happy to have it warm up again. Anyway,it is time for tea so we can enjoy it in the little gardener's cottage today-which is actually more of a  little playhouse for me.It has been fun to decorate it with yardsale/ thrift finds or freebies.

Tea in bed?
Or at the little table by the window with the lace curtains.
Of course,I had to have some lilacs bouquets in the cottage too.
And once again -it is yardsale or thrift store china.

I love the soft green color of the china with the lilacs.

The Gardener's Cottage outside.

The garden is changing everyday!

I am still enjoying my lilacs-hope you are too!

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time again today.

Thank you for visiting me.

Carolyn

It's so beautiful inside and out of your little cottage, Carolyn. I'd be having the tea at the table then taking a nap on the bed!

I would love to have tea in your charming garden cottage, Carolyn! We have the same green teapot and the floral one I used to have also but I gave it away long ago. I wish now I had kept it. It is so pretty! It sure is chilly these days. I hope it warms up soon. My rose buds are closed up tight. They look like they're waiting for warm sunny days too. Thanks for joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hello Carolyn
Decorating cheap and cheerful is the best way and your cottage looks so cozy with all the decor you've put in it.
Cool and rainy here too, I'd like to see warmer temperatures soon.

Yes, I am enjoying your lilacs and your sweet cottage. How fun to decorate and have a hide-a-way. Your cottage and gardens delight me each time I visit you.

You must visit me and view my hydrangeas. Wish I could have some lilacs, too but it is too warm here.

Hope your weather has improved. We could really use rain. High today for us was 94.

I have to say this if I was having tea in bed I would end up spilling said tea and get wet sheets then I would have to get up and change the sheets and then wash the wet ones and in the end think why did I bother trying to have tea in bed......lol

Dear Carolyn,

I know exactly what you mean with little playhouse. Our little garden house is a sort of playhouse as well. However, yours is much more beautiful!! It's a bit like a dream.

Wish you a happy day!

Hello my friend,
I enjoyed joining you for tea today. This is probably the first down time for me in weeks as I have been painting up a storm and redecorating and then company came and everything went in to really really high gear. So relaxing with you in your garden and sweet cottage has soothed this frayed girl a bit. Ahh the magic of beauty, flowers, cozy cottages and tea!

Once again your gardens are beautiful and the little gardener's cottage is adorable with the tea things set out.
I hope your weather improves. It could not be nicer, here in Manitoba. We have blue skies and 26 def F and it's only noon time.
Hugs, Cindy
