Happy Sunday

Hello everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I finally took some time to take some pictures for you.I like the little garden vignette above but it is still early in our garden for getting good shots but each day we move forward a little bit. We seem to be having a drier spring with more sunshine but the temperature has been cold at night. Now, that the full moon is past I am hoping it warms up a little.

On Friday evening we drove by these lovely barrels full of colorful tulips so I had to get out and take a few pictures of them.
I love these vibrant colored tulips for the spring garden but the rest of the season I am not so much an orange fan.

On another street downtown a small front yard garden was covered with blooming spring bulbs. They must have their garden well layered because it has good color most of the season which is harder to do in a small space.
I spent some time playing with my dishes again.
A pretty bouquet from our garden-I am happy to have some tulips blooming now along with the thousands of daffodils.

I was lazy this morning and enjoyed looking through some old Victoria magazines before church and didn't go for my walk so I am off to do that now before my brother and sister in law come for a visit.

Thank you for stopping in to visit!

Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Your spring bouquet has some wonderful colours. Love the soft peach and white daffodil. I have lost most of my tulips and will have to replace them. Not cold enough for them this winter. I hope you had a great weekend.

Oh my goodness, the tulips in the barrels are spectacular. I also think the orange tulips are magnificent but, like you, I'm not so much of an orange fan with other flowers. However, apricot is a different story...I really like apricot roses and daffodils. Your dishes are lovely and make for a very charming cup of tea. I just returned from an afternoon walk so I think I will have my cup of tea and maybe spend a little time relaxing with a good book. I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

Seems like you have the same kind of weather as we here in the south of Sweden.
Just love the tulips in the barrels. A nice idea. And that garden with all the bulbs. They must be very good on gardening. I have a rather big garden but I can't seem to get the colors for every pot that I should. Doesn't make me a winner, does it, lol? But I like my garden just the way it is.
Hope you have a nice Monday,.
Love Elzie

Thank you for always sharing your beauty with us, Carolyn. We are enjoying these Spring days, too.

Those barrels are fantastic. I would have had to stop, too. Oranges are not usually my favorite either, but those are stunning.

Beautiful tulips and daffodils. The orange are just stunning, and so pretty with pinks. I love the seasons to unfold slowly and I love having a show of different flowers throught the spring, summer and fall. When I see that other parts of the country have already had their blooms, or are now having their roses, I do not envy them at all. I will wait until June and enjoy those throughout the summer. We've still tulips and the daffys have just bloomed their last. Thank you for the beautiful post.

Oh, my! What glorious pictures. I am so envious. I have yet to figure out how to get my blog pictures to look better! I love springtime but here in south GA we have very little spring...it jumps to summer so quickly! This year has been better though and my flowers are enjoying it before they wither in the heat!
