Hello Everyone,
I am enjoying all the spring activity that is going on in the garden as the birds are busy building their nests , leaves are starting to unfurl and hundreds of daffodils are starting to put on their cheery spring show.
It is such a treat to be able to go to the garden and pick a pretty bouquet for my tea time.
This pretty little tea cup came home with me from an antique shop in St. Cloud, Florida. The teapot and matching plates were yardsale finds.
Striped scilla and chionodoxa forbesii are early spring bloomers.
I am joining Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday today.
Thank you for visiting me,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Like so many of your lovely readers and blogging friends, I too, have never seen the striped scilla! I will have to search out this delight! If it grows in PEI, it should grow here in Newfoundland, wouldn't you think? Just gorgeous, m'dear, as always. Enjoy your garden and your week.
Hugs,

Beautiful pattern, Carolyn! I love that teapot and its footed base. I'm sure it must be a beautiful sight in your gardens with everything just coming up. We have passed through all the early Spring awakening since we had such warm temps early on. I'm waiting on some iris that looks like they will pop any day now.
What a delicious tea set!
Ale
Hello Carolyn
I love the footed teapot and other china for tea today.
We had a blanket of snow on the ground this morning and it's still snowing. So much for getting back out in the garden for me.
Judith
Hi Carolyn,
Your posts are always so beautiful. I saw a saucer like the one you posted in a little tea room last week and thought of you.I guess I should go back and get it before it is gone. Maybe I will find a teacup to match it somewhere else.
Have a lovely day.
~Clara

What a beautiful teapot set you found. I love the look of purple and white all alone. Just so serene.
Hi Carolyn,
this is an amazing tea pot and tea cup. The decoration looks raised and the woman on the tea cup reminds me to Wedgwood. The set is beautiful with the flowers. Thank you for this eye-candy.
Best greetings, Johanna
A beautiful tea setting with your new teacup and saucer. Yes, it does feel so good to be out in the garden again.
Nancy
I really like the contrast of the blue against the white on your tea things :) :) Lovely :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :) :) :)
